GOSPORT’S winless run now stretches to 19 games after they failed to make the most of Biggleswade’s goalkeeping misfortune.
The Waders were forced to field captain Daniel Craig between the sticks with no recognised keeper available and Joe Lea tested him in the 24th minute with a long-range shot but it missed the target.
Gosport’s front three of Rowan Vine, Ben Wright and Toyosi Olunsanya looked dangerous with some great passing play between them, but the first half ended goalless, both sides wasting some great chances.
