ROYSTON and Basingstoke played a game full of typical end-of-season fare but Adam Murray grabbed the only goal of the game just after half-time to hand Royston a win that moves them to sixth spot.
The first half was mainly the home side knocking on the Basingstoke door but the away keeper, Colm McAdden, made some impressive stops to frustrate the Crows.
Royston’s best chance came from a Scott Bridges free-kick but McAdden tipped the ball round the post superbly.
