HITCHIN TOWN 5 FROME TOWN 1

AFTER a crisis week that ended with Frome’s manager and two senior players resigning, the West Country side just about managed to get a squad together to travel to Hitchin.
But the match was a predictably one-sided affair and Hitchin ran out easy winners, with Josh Brace getting a consolation goal for Frome right at the end.
Carl Crabtree was certainly busy in the first half hour as he saved Frome on numerous occasions but he could do little to prevent Trey Charles opeing the scoring in the 36th minute.
