KETTERING continued their play-off push at Latimer Park against a Hitchin Town side comfortably in upper midtable.
Kettering’s match-winner was the peerless Aaron O’Connor who claimed a hat-trick inside the first 50 minutes and went on to add a fourth.
It was the Poppies who started brighter, with O’Connor slotting home on eight minutes after a cross from Lindon Meikle and a clever dummy from Rene Howe that allowed the ball to run to Kettering’s top goalscorer.
