LATE own goal awarded by the linesman gave Frome Town a deserved share of the points after Hendon had taken the lead in the 69th minute with a well taken goal from Ricardo German.
On a pitch that was desperate for the arrival of the monsoon, and with both sides showing only a few faces from last season, the first half was an even, but scrappy affair.
Neither side looking like scoring and with both goalkeepers essentially onlookers, the half ended with a predictable 0-0 score line as defences were firmly on top.
