A LATE strike from Merthyr Town’s Ian Trailor ensured an enjoyable 350-mile round trip for the supporters travelling in their numbers with victory at Walton Casuals.
The Martyrs got off to the perfect start when full-back Adam Davies cut inside and blasted an effort past Denzel Gerrar after just five minutes.
Walton’s Omari Delgado- Hibbert had a chance to respond soon after, but the debutant saw his close-range finish sail over the bar.
