IN THIS first ever meeting between the teams, Jordan Ajanlekoko's header from Wes Daly's free-kick on 50 minutes was enough to take the points.
Wimborne had the better of the first quarter. Jack Lovell flashed a header and a shot wide; Rams' keeper Ravan Constable was quickly off his line to deny Toby Holmes, and referee Parsons twice showed yellow cards as desperate defenders man-handled Holmes.
But then the visitors began to assert themselves. Anthony Mendy failed to take advantage of a back-pass, and had a deflected effort well saved.
