AN ASCENDANT Salisbury arrived full of hopes and expectation of piling more misery on a lacklustre Farnborough, only to find their hosts full of vim and vigour.
However, despite their opponents proving a tough nut to crack, the Whites eventually did run out comfortable winners.
It was all going well for the hosts until Farnborough collectively put on their clown shoes for an ineptly worked free-kick routine that pearolled tamely out of play.
