RUSHALL Olympic gained only their second away win of the season as they produced a professional display to defeat AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
The hosts hit the post in the fourth minute when Jack Ashton’s header came back off the upright, and Rushall threatened when Orrin Pendley was just unable to turn a loose ball home from close range.
Tyler Little also went close for the visitors when his curling freekick was brilliantly tipped away, but clear-cut chances were largely at a premium.
