BIGGLESWADE Town were finally beaten in league action as Leiston deservedly downed them.
Dominic Docherty had two headed chances that went off target, while at the other end Peter Clarke intercepted Harry Knights but his shot was palmed away by Marcus Garnham.
Leiston took the lead in the 26th minute when a welltimed pass from Byron Lawrence set free Jake Reed, turning and firing into the corner.
