MARINE were held to a 1-1 home draw by Gainsborough Trinity in a hard-fought affair in the Northern Premier League.
The Mariners started strongly in the first half but were wasteful with the opportunities they had – something they’d rue later on.
One of the best chances of the first half fell to Finlay Sinclair-Smith, who was put in by a bit of neat footwork by Danny Mitchley, but Marcus Dewhurst saved well.
