HELICOPTER EMERGENCY ECLIPSES A BORE DRAW

BANBURY took on Lowestoft Town for the very first time hoping to get back to winning ways at home, but the game was held up for an hour for a medical emergency when a helicopter was scrambled and landed on the pitch. The drama occured after crews were called to treat an injured man on a nearby premises.
When the game did eventually get underway, Banbury started strongly with Greg Kaziboni’s cross testing Elvijs Putnins, although the Trawlerboys responded quickly – Matt Brown’s shot saved by Manny Agboola.
