HITCHIN achieved only their second league win of the season, but in comfortable style.
They took the lead after 11 minutes when Isaac Galliford’s persistence kept the ball in play close to the line and his perfect cross saw Michael Cain’s strong leftfooted shot find the top left corner.
Barwell’s Liam Canavan headed over the bar following a corner.
On the half-hour mark a corner from Galliford fell neatly to Josh Bickerstaff who put the Hertfordshire side further ahead from close range to give the hosts an unprecedented two-goal cush...
