WIMBORNE bagged their fifth successive home league win in a highly entertaining game as both teams created goal attempts galore.
But fine goalkeeping, magnificent defending, and profligate finishing kept the score down.
On 13 minutes Toby Holmes headed Luke Burbidge’s cross over the bar when well-positioned, before Tivvy’s Tom Gardner made a goal-saving block to deny the striker.
At the other end Tom Bath selflessly set-up Levi Landricombe who was thwarted by an acrobatic goal-line clearance from Paddy Hester.
