A JOEL Carta brace in the first half proved the difference as Corby Town ran out deserved 2-1 winners at Broadwater to end Berkhamsted’s six-match winning run.
Berkhamsted took the lead when Matt Bateman held the ball up superbly before feeding Elliott Godfrey, who lashed home from 20 yards.
Carta equalised on 28 minutes when he finished off a free-kick and he was then on hand from a Sam Warburton corner to head Corby into the lead on 37 minutes.
