COLESHILL Town battled to a hard-fought 1-0 derby day victory over Sutton Coldfield Town as Matt Jackson came back to haunt his old club in the Evo-Stik Southern Central.
In their first league meeting since 1978/79, Sutton got off to the worst possible start when Lee Smith was sent off in the second minute for an alleged elbow.
Despite the man deficit, Sutton marshalled their defence well and reduced Coleshill to few chances before the break.
