BANBURY United extended their unbeaten run to eight games with a hard-fought win over Rushall Olympic.
Banbury could have taken the lead after 21 minutes when a mistake in the Rushall defence let in Greg Kaziboni, but his shot went just wide. Banbury continued to dictate and Amer Awadah’s shot went over the Rushall bar.
Banbury took the lead after 30 minutes when Georgio Rasulo got into the Rushall box, where Orrin Pendley upended him and Banbury were awarded a penalty. Steve Diggin stepped up to fire home into the left-hand corner.
