TAMWORTH slipped to a third defeat in four games against a Saints side who have now picked up ten points from 15.
Gregg Smith headed wide for Tamworth early on but it was St Ives who opened the scoring on ten minutes as Ty Ward played in Jake Newman, who hit a well-struck effort into the bottom corner of the net.
Newman was denied a second by the feet of Jas Singh on 17 minutes but Tamworth were level soon after as Smith slotted home from the penalty spot after Jarvis Wilson had handled in the area.
