ZANONE RESCUES CITIZENS

STUART Zanone provided a sting in the tail as Welwyn Garden City scored twice late on in a thrilling 3-3 draw at Didcot Town.
Didcot played the majority of the game at Loop Meadow with ten men and were pegged back dramatically late on.
Callum McNish gave Didcot the lead with a crisp finish before the game changed as Ollie Thomas was shown a straight red card for a lunging challenge on the halfway line.
The contest burst to life in the second half as Didcot were awarded a penalty for a high foot in the box and Sam Barder slotted home from the penalty spot.
