Claudio Dias and Aman Verma both sustained injuries.
Tamworth can look to this as a reason they did not perform but Biggleswade bottled them in. Joe White scored the first of his three goals after 14 minutes. A through ball from Matt Ball let White slip his marker to place the ball past the keeper.
Tamworth had their chances through Michael Taylor but accuracy was not his as his two close-range efforts went wide.
