STRATFORD were deserving winners over fellow play-off contenders Needham.
They went close to taking the lead in only the second minute when Wilson Carvalho’s shot was pushed out by Needham keeper Jake Jessup who recovered instantly to block Lewis Wilson’s attempt.
The Marketmen’s first chance came on 12 minutes with Jamie Griffiths heading over and ten minutes later Reece Dobson hit a fierce effort which was turned behind by Ross Etheridge.
