THIS game proved just one step too far for injury-ravaged Bedford, as Peterborough Sports won 3-1.
Adding to the injury woes was captain, Gavin Hoyte, substituted in the second half with what looked like a hamstring problem.
The Eagles took the lead in the 14th minute when Callum Donnelly timed his run to perfection to latch onto a Ebby Nelson-Addy pass to chip the ball over Lewis Moat.
