THE form book proved a reliable guide as Dorchester Town slipped to their eighth home league defeat against Poole Town who recorded the same number of away wins.
It took the Dolphins just five minutes to edge in front as a long ball from captain Jamie Whisken fell into the path of Marvin Brooks whose sidefooted effort bounced in off the far post.
Corby Moore nearly doubled the lead with a 20-yard shot which flew over but Poole were soon handed the chance to do so when Harry Kite upended Brooks.
