HAVING stood resolute against a Farnborough onslaught for the opening 20 minutes, Tiverton captain Jamie Price was heard screaming ‘kill the game’.
Unfortunately everyone in the ground heard his wails and Farnborough redoubled their efforts knowing the visitors were rattled. And minutes later Cumberbatch snatched the initiative for the hosts with a sweet low drive.
Farnborough doubled their lead shortly before half time when a rampaging Oyenuga tore down the left wing towards the oncoming keeper and with one small step shifted feet...
