IT IS HARD to imagine that the season’s end can’t come quick enough for hapless Staines who again fell to a heavy defeat in South Wales.
The only consolation for the Middlesex outfit is that it could have been much much worse.
Merthyr’s Ian Traylor scored a hat-trick inside 10 minutes, the third a neat lob over goalkeeper Louis Dixon and just two minutes later he added a fourth as Staines defence was left in tatters and the game over as a contest.
