MERTHYR Town run out victors as Gosport Borough fell short.
Gosport were left with it all to do as Merthyr’s pressing game was too much for the struggling home side.
The Welsh team’s persistent high line caused the Boro Boys probleMs. This pressure led to the first goal of the game which came from a rebounded effort turned home by Ryan Prosser to put the visitors ahead. It turned out to be the only goal of the half, however it was enough to rock the Boro boat.
Merthyr’s dominance was unable to be derailed as their pressing game ...
