CORBY Town remain stranded in third place in the Southern League Division One Central table after falling to a shock 4-1 defeat at the hands of Welwyn Garden City. Dave Keenleyside gave Welwyn the lead 18 minutes in from a free-kick, while Eoin McKeown put the 16th-placed side 2-0 up before half-time.
Eusebio Da Silva made it 3-0 just after the break, with Joel Carta scoring Corby’s 100th goal of the season sparked little cause for celebration.
