ROVERS LEAD THE HUNT FOR MALKIN

A HOST of Football League clubs are preparing themselves for a summer scramble for Nantwich Town starlet Joe Malkin.
The 20-year-old striker – son of former Tranmere Rovers forward Chris Malkin – has scored 11 goals in 20 starts so far this term, helping the Dabbers into the Evo-Stik Premier Division playoffs.
His form has already seen him named as the NPL Young Player of the Year – as named by the league managers – and has been recognised by Championship club Blackburn Rovers where Malkin has been training in recent weeks.
