BRANDON United have quashed rumours that they are folding at the end of the season.
Second from bottom in the Northern League Division Two, speculation mounted that the stepping down of stalwarts Bill Fisher and Barry Ross would mean an end to the struggling club.
But a statement released by the club read: “For a number of years Bill and Barry have managed to keep Brandon United going when lesser people would have given up. Their departure, however, gave an opportunity for a younger generation to step up and take the club forward
