KINGS Langley’s victory was all in vain as Poole Town’s expected victory at Staines Town gave them the final spot in the play-offs.
The match against relegated Frome Town could hardly have started better for Kings as Stevie Ward was bundled over and got up to convert a penalty. Previous to that, Rene Howe had forced Rob Brown into a good save.
But the Robins fought back and contained Kings until the last quarter.
