AN ENTERTAINING opener ended honours even as a well-taken Danny Kelly equaliser just after the half-hour cancelled Ryan Beswick’s excellent 25-yard free-kick out.
The Lambs came to Ives as favourites to win this division and started looking like they may well live up to that tag as Beswick punished Tom Wood for his rash tackle on Dan Creaney. Creaney also rattled the crossbar with a cracking drive from the edge of the box in 24th minute.
