BEACONSFIELD’S slow start to the season continued with a second 3-1 defeat at home in a week, this time at the hands of Farnborough.
Beaconsfield started brightly enough but the visitors took the lead on 14 minutes when Perry Coles’ dipping free-kick was spilled at the far post by Andrew McCorkell in the home goal. The rebound fell kindly for Con nor Cullen to apply the finish.
The half hour mark saw another Coles free -kick double the lead, the striker curling a 25 yard effort into the top corner with McCorkell well beaten. Gary Me...
