CLITHEROE picked up their first win of the season after they defeated Kendal Town 2-1 in a very hard fought game.
The visitors opened the scoring after eight minutes when Connor Gaul scored from the penalty spot after the referee had waved away Kendal’s protestations.
However, they home team equalised one minute later through another spot kick which Lewis Wainwright cooly converted into the corner.
