LUKE INGRAM’S late penalty fired dominant Needham Market to a deserved win but Alvechurch will rue a glut of missed chances.
The Marketmen, unbeaten in the league, fought back from behind at a rain-soaked Lye Meadow thanks to waves of pressure built through neat possession but Church had golden opportunities from set-pieces despite being penned in for long periods.
Striker Aaron Lloyd seized on a wayward defensive header from Adam Mills to fire Church ahead from the left edge of the box inside eight minutes.
