RUSHDEN struck in the 90th minute to settle a largely even affair at Hayden Road.
Despite being Dimonds first home game in just under a month, chances were few and far between in the first half. Home man Ravi Shamsi’s saved shot from range that was saved and Hitchin’s Henry Snee’s low strike at the other end that was brilliantly tipped away, proved to be two of the high points.
