SAM MCLINTOCK’S first half wonder goal proved the difference, as Alvechurch chalked up their third home win of the season.
The victory leaves the side in tenth place in the Southern League Premier Central, but just three points off the play-off spots.
In a tightly fought contest, McLintock’s moment of quality just before the interval proved decisive. The midfielder controlled the ball just outside the Biggleswade box before curling a 25-yard-shot past the despairing dive of Jake Alley.
