THE crossbar denied Bromsgrove Sporting from snatching all three points right at the death in this scrappy affair in front of a bumper New Year’s Day crowd.
In a game of few clearcut chances, substitute Callum Ebanks could not believe how he missed the target in the third minute of second-half stoppage time. Rising like a salmon to meet a cross from the right, an unmarked Ebanks could only head against the woodwork, meaning the spoils were to be shared.
