Top treble marred by horrific injury

WILL SPETCH smashed a fine hat-trick to see off local rivals Wimborne in a match marred by a horrific injury to visiting captain Dan Strugnell.
Strugnell was stretchered off and taken to hospital by ambulance after suffering a sickening knee injury just six minutes into the game.
Play recommenced at 4pm and Poole took full advantage of their visitors’ misfortune when Spetch leapt highest to head home Corby Moore’s free kick.
