The visitors had the first chance, but Matt Drage’s glanced near-post header drifted just wide of the back stick.
Jayden Clarke saw his shot brilliantly saved by Luke Williams from Hendon’s first opening, before Christian Smith’s 60-yard lob drifted just wide with Williams back-pedalling.
