TWO second-half strikes from Ty Deacon pushed AFC Rushden & Diamonds into the play-off positions.
Rushden were unlucky not to go ahead early on when Nathan Tshikuna cut in from the wing before his curling effort rattled the woodwork.
In a frantic opening 10 minutes, at the opposite end James Rowland was released out wide before firing his effort into the side-netting.
