BANBURY United took the points back to Oxfordshire as they moved 17 points clear at the top of the table.
Goals in each half saw Banbury hold off a good Leiston display in front of 283 spectators.
The game started evenly with Banbury forward Benjamin Acquaye testing Sam Donkin in the Blues’ goal. Leiston forced Banbury into a few fouls and put balls into the area from free-kicks and corners with away custodian Jack Harding punching balls away from danger.
