POOLE held on in a tightly fought contest to register their fifth consecutive home league victory.
Although Walton started brightly Poole soon took control and looked the better side in the first half. Will Spetch’s powerful header from Corby Moore’s free kick after Luke Pardoe was fouled saw Poole take the lead.
