HITCHIN recorded a vital win over their third-placed visitors who were anxious to consolidate their playoff prospects.
Goals from Jake Hutchinson and Lewis Barker saw the Canaries home to push them up the table.
An early chance for Hitchin saw skipper Dan Webb provide an opportunity for Hutchinson whose header went wide.
The Canaries took the lead after 26 minutes from a move on the left and Rio Dasilva’s assistance saw Hutchinson slip the ball past Jonathan Flatt.
