YATE TOWN kept up their play-off hopes with a narrow win over Hendon at Silver Jubilee Park.
They could not have made a much better start as, inside the opening minute, Hendon keeper Fred Burbidge was adjudge to have clattered into James Harding and, after both received lengthy treatment, Luke Hopper slammed home the penalty.
Frank Keita and Jayden Clarke, twice, had shooting opportunities for Hendon, but they were off target, none going as close to goal as Harding with a curled effort.
