COALVILLE cemented their play-off spot as they forced Leiston to a second successive defeat.
In a fairly even first half, Coalville had the initial chances as both Tim Berridge and Luke Shaw tested Sam Donkin.
Finlay Barnes then tried his luck for Leiston, but both defences remained on top throughout the half as Christopher Robinson and Jake Eggleton both saw yellow for their respective late challenges.
Leiston came out after the interval with intent and Siju Odelusi saw his deflected shot scrape narrowly wide.
