CHESHAM United boosted their play-off hopes with an emphatic victory which left Merthyr Town in the relegation zone.
Francis Jno-Baptiste opened the scoring after 11 minutes, slotting the ball past Martyrs goalkeeper Jamie Cogman from a tight angle.
Second-half goals from Jaden Thompson-Brisset and substitute Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick were enough to see the Generals secure all three points in south Wales.
Chesham remain in sixth place despite the win and are a point behind play-off rivals Weston-Super-Mare with a game in hand.
