BROMSGROVE’S league campaign kicked off against St Ives Town following a busy pre-season that saw many players departing Thomas Baillie’s side, but equal numbers coming in.
The first half played out very evenly with both sides having chances. In the 29th minute Ryan Edmunds’ free kick found new signing Dan Sweeney who scored on his league debut for Sporting.
