LEISTON’S excellent record on the opening day of the season continued as the Blues won late on to defeat Nuneaton Borough.
Two late Will Davies goals were enough to nick a late win. The Blues have now lost just two of their opening games in 11 years of being a Step 3 club.
Adam Mills was fouled in the box in the early stages, which allowed Finlay Barnes to send Tony Breedon the wrong way from the spot.
