YATE returned home with all three points from Hendon after a fine rearguard display preserved their half-time lead.
The Bluebells started brightly and were twice denied a goal in the opening six minutes, the first blocked by a Hendon defender and the second, a Joe Tumelty shot, well-saved by Marcin Brzozowski.
Midway through the half, in quick succession, Rohdell Gordon and Isaac Galliford were off target for Hendon.
Both teams became careless in possession, but it was the visitors whose attack continued to carry the greatest threat, Ollie Meh...
