FANTASTIC FOGDEN SETS POOLE ON THEIR WAY

POOLE used the flanks well to defeated Southern League new boys Winchester City, although the home team certainly had chances during the game.
A superb run and shot on by Wes Fogden in the 11th minute gave Poole the lead, before a deflected shot from Declan Rose gave them a 2-0 lead in the 31st minute.
In between these goals, Claudio Herbert had an effort that went across the goal and wide of the far post, while Jamie Barron had a powerfully struck effort that was just off target. Winchester captain Jamie Barron was desperately unlucky ...
